What is a Beer Steer?
Beer Steers are miniature Highland Cows (in our case steers) that come to your events prepared to make it memorable, exciting, and a great photo opportunity. They come with saddle bags that can be filled with anything from drinks to party favors as they meet your guests. They can be used for various occasions from weddings and rehearsal dinners, to business events, themed parties, and even children's parties with juice.
If you are looking for a great conversation starter or entertainment feature that will make your event stand out, a Beer Steer might be just what you need.

FAQs
-
Due to liquor licensing and liability, we do not provide the drinks or goodies that do in the saddle bags. Our servers are TIPS certified meaning that they can hand out whatever you choose to fill the bags with. Feel free to get creative and fill your own jars, your favorite canned beverage, or even your wedding favors.
-
We have a one hour service window for our animals. Most events only need one hour for photos and to create a conversation item during the transition periods of weddings.
-
It is a valid concern, especially if you are wearing white! Our steers have discrete baggies attached to them to conceal the unwanted byproduct of their large appetite.
-
Because we have had our steers since they were so young, they have been bottle fed and loved by our family their whole lives and they LOVE being around people. Cattle are heard animals and love having a purpose, and ours come alive when they are around humans and getting all of the necks scratches.

At this time we are only allowing visits to the farm for photography purposes. Please reach out if this interests you.

Our Highlands are extremely friendly, sometimes overly so when they want more scratches. We keep them on halters 100% of the time they are at events or with customers to mitigate their excitement. Our handlers are trained at controlling them, but at the end of the day, all animals can be unpredictable and its our handler’s job to determine if the animal is suitable for the event that day.
